I like Gula Melaka, it is very aromatic. Hence, I went on the internet and found a recipe that used Gula Melaka to cook pork belly. So, I want to share with all of you this amazing recipe that is easier to cook and the taste is wonderful. Ingredients: -pork belly(remove the skin) 600gram and 6 inch -garlic 1 tablespoon -oil 1 tablespoon -ginger 2 small slice Seasoning: -light soy sauce 4 teaspoon -dark soy sauce 2 teaspoon -gula Melaka 50-100gram (up to you) -water 300-500ml -salt 1 teaspoon -pepper 1 teaspoon -hua diao wine 2 teaspoon 1) Heat the oil and put ginger and garlic into a pan until its aromatic. Then, put in the pork belly, fry it. 2) Put in all seasoning ingredients into the pan with small heat. Cook until the sauce thickens. Then, take out and cut it into slice when its cooler. Enjoy :) *Gula Melaka will stick onto your pan after cooking. So, I suggest not to wash the pan immediately after cooking the dish. Put water into the pan and boil it. The sugar will melt and it will be easy to wash* *Light soy sauce and Gula Melaka can be adjust to your own taste* |
